Artist's Description
Atalya is a mysterious Moorish castle which was once home to Anna Hyatt Huntington's winter sculpture studio. She was a renown scuptress and philanthropist. from NY, who lived and worked here, along with her husband, Archer Huntington. Together, they endowed thousands of acres for a sculpture garden, which has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of visitors over the years. It is a unique place to visit, as well as Atalaya, which is closer to the ocean than the gardens.

A big thank you to the collector from Murrells Inlet who purchased a large framed print of this photo today! I always love visiting Atalaya and envisioning what it must have been like to live, sculpt and write there for the Huntingtons. May you enjoy it for many years to come! Blessings, Suzanne
