Thank you, Irene, for your comment on "A Rose for Betty". Betty was a unique and special lady, who passed away early this Spring, after a long and fruitful life! This rose was planted especially for her several years ago and was so beautiful, just like her, that I had to try to capture it with my camera. She will live on in the hearts of her many friends and family!

This is beautiful photography!! I adore black and white photos. There is something about this kind of coloring that makes the true beauty of the object stand out. Sometimes, I will add the Sepia effect to give certain photo's an aged look, which again to me brings out a unique beauty.
