This hand built clay vase has been made with a clay slab and textured with a doily. Under the textured turquoise Amaco glaze, a copper wash was applied to the doily areas and then rubbed away on the high spots. The rest of the outside was brushed on tourmaline Amaco glaze. Then the inside was glazed with an HB8 White poured glaze. If you would like to purchase this vase to add to your home's décor or as a wonderful and unique gift, please contact me. Spring 2021 Award and Honors: I am pleased to say that two of my photos have been accepted into the 24th Annual Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild Spring Art Show taking place at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC.
