This coffee mug was made with brown and white stoneware clay that have been marbled together and formed into a slab. The slab was rolled into a cylinder and finished into a cup on the pottery wheel. The handle was added last and after it was bisqued, a clear gloss glaze was added to the inside and outside. Spring 2021 Award and Honors: I am pleased to say that two of my photos have been accepted into the 24th Annual Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild Spring Art Show taking place at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC. One of them, "Seeking the Sun," was chosen for an honorable mention! The other photo is called, "Coneflower Jumble." "Seeking the Sun" "Coneflower Jumble" Spring Shows: One of my ceramic vases was juried into the 22nd Annual Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild Show at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC, but the show was cancelled due to the 2020 Covid-19 Virus Pandemic.
