This beautiful, restored and picturesque lighthouse has resided on Tybee Island, GA, since 1732, ordered by Georgia Governor, General James Oglethorpe. It has 178 steps, culminating with a 9 foot lens! The Light has been providing safe entrance to the Savannah River for 270 years.
